The New CIO Leader: Setting the Agenda and Delivering Results (Harvard Business Review Press, 2004)

The role of the CIO continues to change.  Business continues to change.  The technology landscape continues to change.

As a CIO leader you have two choices,  become obsolete or determine your own destiny and set a new agenda.

The choice is yours!

Every now and again I return to this book,  not because it is necessarily the latest thinking on the role of the CIO and IT management, but because many of the underlying principles are universal and still apply today.  This book is not only for CIO’s,  but relevant to any person in a technical leadership role.
